The Distillery District is a historic and one of Toronto’s most vibrant neighbourhoods. It was Toronto’s first distillery and now is home to design boutiques, art galleries, restaurants and cafés. The district was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1988.

The buildings of the former Gooderham and Worts Distillery was founded in 1832, in the late 20th century, the district was left increasingly derelict, but left comprises more than 40 heritage buildings and 10 streets, and is the largest collection of Victorian-era industrial architecture in North America.

In summer, the Distillery District will live jazz, activities, exhibitions and foodie events. Some theatres, studios are also located here.
